Arrival
Most guests to Dubrovnik arrive by plane.
From Dubrovnik Cilipi International Airport, take the Croatia Airlines bus which is scheduled to meet incoming and outgoing flights. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes and stops at the Old Town gates. From there it will take you some five to ten minutes, depending on your pace to reach our place.
Our address is Lokrumska 6.
You can call us when you are near, so we can pick you up.
Taxi is a more expensive alternative, if a driver does not know where Lokrumska street is, you can tell them to leave you at the bus station where the cable car station used to be.
At the time we are preparing this, summer of 2008, a bus ticket is some 40 Kuna (6 Euro) per person, and a taxi should cost between 200 Kuna (27 Euro) and 300 Kuna (40 Euro).
Currency
Although Euro is accepted at some places, we would advise you to prepare Kuna or face inventive exchange rates of people you give foreign currency to.
Car travelers
As it happens with 1000 years old cities, Dubrovnik is not a very car friendly place. This is particularly true for wholly pedestrian old town, as well as area surrounding it, where only two roads exist, one going east and one heading west.
Parking places are few and in summer it can take some circling to find one.
If you are arriving by car, you might want to contact us so we can give you some tips where you might find your parking spot.
Ok, I think I’m here somewhere, but where are you exactly?
Well, follow the pictures, but first, check the map.
Lokrumska is street of stares,
road beneath it is called “Petra Kresimira 4”
When you get on a bus station you should see this beauty on the south:

This means that you are at the right place and on the other side you should see Lokrumska street:

Now just a couple of stares, and what you see in front of you are our gates:

And you are here:
